Alarm outputs on FM guard
« on: February 19, 2023, 11:28:42 am »
Hello
Can I configure the alarm outputs for the P275r in the FMguard software?
In the FM scope software I can see it, but not in FMguard
I'm monitoring several stations 24/7 with FMguard
It would be nice I can use the relay outputs on the P275r with FMguard

regards

The alarm outputs and relays work in complete independence. They don't need a PC for operation, just for configuration (that can be made in the FM Scope).

From what I understand, you're asking for a solution which will drive the relays based on the alarm sets which are built in the FM Guard application. The device is capable of that. In the Alarm Sets - Alarm Tasks we can add such option: drive pin X low/high. Do you think this would be useful for you?

Jan, That’s right
When there’s an alarm in FMguard, it would be nice to drive the output relay to make a failover (in case of signal loss)
FMguard just sending an alarm email.
now there’s no option in FM guard to program this alarm task.

Ok, sounds like a good idea. We'll implement it maybe tomorrow.
