10 MHz input on cased P275
« on: July 24, 2019, 04:20:46 pm »
was wondering if there is anything that would preclude the installation of the interface resistors and a small panel mount RP-SMA for the purpose of inputting a 10 MHz GPSDO reference while using on the test bench.
Regards,
Dale

The 10 MHz reference input has reason only when you need a precise remote measurement of the FM carrier frequency. For such case the reference input can be mounted on the aluminium panel as well. The precise FM carrier frequency measurement is not accessible on the LCD.

The reference input has no effect on any other measurements because the internal oscillator error is several orders lower compared to the overall accuracy.
