DSUB 9F = connector, not IC
MAX232 = MAX232 or equivalent

Thanks.  LOL! I'm trying to make it harder than it is I guess.  I haven't seen a d-sub drawn that way but I'm in the US so that's what tripped me up.  Thanks!!!
