Going to a default message after a period of time
« on: April 28, 2017, 09:25:09 pm »
Hello,

I am trying to configure the Pira 332 so a default message is displayed on the screen after a period of time in which the song information is not updated (during a commercial break for instance).  How can I set this up?

There's a function called Default Text Timeout for Radiotext.
For Dynamic PS, there are similar options "Number of transmissions" and "Then clear".

The newly introduced X-Command will extend this feature considerably as you'll be able to assign the X-Command to the text timeout event, resulting among others in a possibility of simple inserting full RT+ information into the default (fixed) text. You'll be also able to loop through a fixed set of RT+ messages. We're currently working on the new firmware version which will be a breakthrough in working with tagged text.
