Pira Log File bug
« on: September 28, 2011, 03:23:31 pm »
Pira does not seem to be flushing its write buffer when an alarm or return is triggered, except on exit. This is a problem for me as I am using the log file for a nagios check_mk plugin to detect the current status. If this could be fixed, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

-Daniel

Yes, you are true. The log is flushed on exit and before sending email (as the log might be attached). If you give me an another event when to flush, I'll add it. Or maybe, if it is hard to define, I'll flush after each line in the log...

I suggest using something like SendEmail.

Attach the SD logfile and run the SendEmail program by using scheduler.
