Hello,
I'm from Poland.
I have question about 3 W FM Transmitter.
I can't find a transistor 2sc1971. But i have a 2 pieces of 2sc1970 , 2 pieces of KT907A , 2 pieces of bly92 , 2 pieces of 2n3632 , 7 pieces of KT922b, 5 pieces of 2N3553 , bsx59 and 2N3866. This is my collection of RF Power transistors. What transistor can i put instead 2sc1971.

What about RD06HVF1 ? Retailers sell this one as a replacement for 2sc1971. Both have close specs, but RD is mosfet type, not bipolar npn. I'm building the same 3w project, and also dont have 2sc1971.

The 2SC1970, 2SC1971 are obsolete for some years now, Mitsubishi doesn't make them anymore. The replacement is an RD06HVF1, however this is an n-mos rf transistor not an npn transistor, you can't simple swap them out.
For the 2sc1971 watch out for fakes and counterfeits, they're all over the place.
You'll have to change the circuit to use an RD05 or an RD15.

P.S.: See schematic below for clearance. I've remove my email from the drawing to avoid excessive emails. I also have a prototype pcb in Sprint Layout 6.0 if you need it.
