Great discussion! It sounds like an intriguing project to extract metadata from the Barix Extreamer. While working on your software, you might take breaks by playing papa's freezeria to refresh your mind. That game is an excellent way to unwind after coding sessions! Has anyone tried integrating RDS with other devices successfully?

If you use PIRA32 RDS Encoder, you should be able to do it without need of writing special software.  ;)

 ok so what I want to do is to extract the Metadata ( song titles) from a barix extreamer using  its rs232 port  ( not listed as yet but sure that it can be done ) send this to an rds to produce scrolling text . Any  software writers with a clue please contact me .
