First of all I want to say thank you for writing this small piece of SW (Pira CZ Remote COM Port).
Do the program have an telnet API?
choose comport, baudrate etc. then it would be possible to control it using only telnet.
If not, then it would be nice to be able to send a shutdown command to the program using telnet, then I could change the ini file and start the program again.
