« on: December 30, 2024, 11:09:31 pm »Well, I've got some more info. I installed Magic RDS using Wine on Ubuntu. The connections I set up was USB with a baudrate of 19200 and voila... it worked.
Being optimistic I shutdown MagicRDS and started TinyRDS again, setting the same com port and that works as well. I don't know what changed, but I can now confirm that both programs are usable in ubuntu when a registry entry is made with wine for COM3 mapping to /dev/ttyUSB0.
Great, no need to boot up W10 for this anymore
