There's no bandscan function built-in. The bandscan is created by a series of commands and responses.

Once you connect, you may
1) tune to all frequencies in the band
 or
2) to frequencies of interest.

EXAMPLE

To tune to 87.6 MHz:
087600*F

To get fast signal info (available after ~50 ms):
?G

To get more accurate signal info (available after ~1 sec.):
?U
?I

See the device manual for the command description.

Sorry, I think I put the question in the wrong topic, the question is directed to the P175 FM Analyzer and Commands returning a value in the rs233 terminal type putty or hyperterminal.  is there any command like:
 ?B Return all basic data
 ?F Return current receiver’s frequency

?L Return the pilot deviation value

 etc...

Some command to return the measurement in dB equal to the acquisition made by the bandscan window some like fm scope

In the Connection section, select Connection type: Serial RS232/USB, Serial port COM4, speed 19200, click on Connect. On the Bandscan card, select Acquire.

Hello everybody.
How do I request the same signal[dB] from the bandscan window in the FM Scope 1.5 software using the P175 listening to the "COM4" serial port?
