Hello,

it's possible to use Gmail, but it needs to be configured according to the Vaibhav Jain post in this topic https://stackoverflow.com/questions/73365098/how-to-turn-on-less-secure-app-access-on-google.
So 2-factor authentication needs to be enabled and you need to use apppasswords to generate special password for the silence detector.

hi team we used to use gmail then when google changed there system we used an outlook account and now have same issue not alearting if system is down unable to send email

Since June 2022, Gmail is no longer supported.

In the announcement, Google said: "To help keep your account secure, starting May 30, 2022, ​​Google will no longer support the use of third-party apps or devices which ask you to sign in to your Google Account using only your username and password."

We will not look for any solution of the Gmail issue. Please use another (trully) free mail service or use SMTP server of your ISP.

Google's policy is to force users to use only Google applications associated with your general Google account. You should use another from plenty of SNMP servers for outgoing emails, which is not linked to your internet and social profile.
