This simple modification adds to the PIRA32 a "dummy" stereo encoder and makes from the unit RDS + pilot tone generator. This is sometimes useful when stereo encoder is not used. The transmission will look like stereo but clearly no stereo effect will be audible. The RDS encoder functionality is not affected by the modification.

How to modify?

The modification has two steps:

• Firmware upgrade (using the Rdspmod.zip file). It's possible to recall the modification using the original Rdsup file.
• Modifying of 2 parts on the board:
