the simple thing is...
to dial through a modem to a landline or a cell number when alarm is on!
( as another same but with 30euros program does!)
can you do this?

If the modem is accessible via COM port and allows full control using AT commands for your purpose (for example ATDT8005551234 etc.), then it's really simple. If you wish to test it, contact me at mail@pira.cz. When the time allows, I'll implement it.

The Silence Detector can control any AT commands enabled modem now, without need of any modification. Everything you must to do is to save the AT command sequence to a text file and in the piraside add this simple line to the queue:
cmd /c copy file.txt com1
Somebody thinks, somebody pays ;) That's usual...

Your keyboard has probably broken Caps Lock key and also omits some letters or words. Please repair it or buy new keyboard before writing to this forum.
