message to radio pager
To be able to send a message to a radio pager would be a great add on.
The TAP protocol is the way to do this, I can provide some information, help (and testing) as my employer runs a paging system.

Redirecting silence detector email message should work as well...

Jan, unfortunately this will not work. TAP requires the application to dial the pager system (with a good old-fashioned modem) and pass the data at 300 or 1200 baud. Email is only used on a very few paging systems.
