Silence detector problem - Help please!
Tring to get it working on a Sony Vaio laptop with Vista.
It will not pickup the sound playing on the speakers. I uninstalled Virtual Audio Cable in case that was complicating matters.
I have audio playing on speakers, but in General Settings the only audio input choice is "(Default)" and the software is detecting no audio. I've tried re-booting.
An ideas? I'm probably doing something stupid! I had it working OK on another (XP) computer...

Do the dB level values change? If not, there's probably no suitable audio recording device installed.
