Setup problem
I have just found your program and thought it was just what we need for our small radio station. We sometimes have problems where the automation software stops and needs to be restarted, usually during the night.
So, I installed your silence detector but cannot set it to work with the required sound channel.
To explain: I need this to run on the 'live' computer. The sound is therefore the output, not input as your program seems to want to listen to?
We have 2 sound cards in the PC, one is the live output, the other is pre-fade monitor, to listen to songs off-air.
The main sound card has an input for an external source, which we use for the satellite news feed.
To work, this software needs to listen to the output channel. I cannot find a way to set this?
Only then can I use the program to kill the application then launch a batch file that will wait for so long, then attempt to restart the automation.
We have another PC that we can 'listen' on, this records all station output. But, the program then cannot kill the application on another PC.
Help?

Re: Re: Re: Setup problem
I found nothing in this forum so asked the question. The sound card input is already being used for external source so we cannot use the program if monitoring of the output is not possible. That is all I wanted to know.

Maybe this will help:

If the sound card is already used for recording, you cannot use it, however you may install another sound card to your PC.
