Run Alarm Task When Silence NOT Preceded by Active Stream?
Great product!
I do have 2 questions, both similar:
1. Is it possible to have the Pira CZ Silence Detector startup status as active?
Sometmes, when initially connecting to a streaming audio radio station, the transmitting station is not active. In this situation, the Alarm Task will not activate.
2. Similarly, when a streaming audio station stops transmitting, the Alarm Task runs only one time. When trying to re-connect to the same streaming radio station, occasionly the station is still down. Ideally, the Alarm Task would run again. This would allow a batch application the chance to connect to a different station.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
In my situation, the receiving PC is usually unattended, so manual intervention is not feasible.
Would it be possible to allow the Alarm Task to run at silence, even if not preceded by an active transmission? Perhaps this request could be done with a startup parameter.
Many thanks!

Re: Run Alarm Task When Silence NOT Preceded by Active Stream?
I don't understand the point 1. The application detects silence regardless of the fact that there was no audio when launching it. The timeout is longer due to start-up delay that can be set in General Settings.
The "Loop" option will be added soon for the alarm tasks.
