Silence Detector - Default Sound Card

Default Sound Card

Maybe someone can help me with this. The Pira CZ Silence Detector seems to monitor my system default Sound Card rather than the one specified in the application. I don't want to change my default since this is used for system sounds, applications, cue and other alerts that I don't want to air.

This change requires application restart to take effect. It's mentioned on the same form.

I did a system restart, but the application still wasn't monitoring the sound card (actually an iMic USB).

I tested it again, I can choose the sound card without any problems. I'm afraid there is nothing to improve in the application because it fully uses Windows services for the sound card access. So it seems there is a specific driver problem in your Windows.
You may set the default input device independently of the output device in control panels so this should solve your problem.
