My problem
Hey Jan, this is my problem :)
I have a hardware and the controller use RS232. if I want to connect the hardware to my computer, my computer should have a com port. BUT, my computer doesn't. so, i want to modify the cable from RS232-RS232 to RS232-LAN. can I use this software to controll the hardware with above case.

Fyi, it can be solved by USB to RS232 Converter, but i want it trough by LAN.

I think that any virtual COM port alone should solve this problem. Your application seems it as a COM port but the data are redirected to LAN.
