• UECP device model now supports MEC 48: DAB+ Dynamic Label Plus (not sure why so many pluses but that's what they officialy call it)
• Communication decoder now shows DAB+ DL/DLP in full length of 128 bytes
• Due to increasing number of supported device models and purposes of use, the Connection Kind now contains several categories instead of the 'RDS Encoder' only
• External text sources: The source sequencer has been completely rewritten, solving some limitations and bugs
• External text sources: Transition Optimizer function added to Output. User can specify minimum display duration for all texts.
• External text sources: If reading a web file and no explicit coding is specified, the UTF-8 coding is expected instead of ANSI

• If DAB DL+ UECP MEC 48 is enabled, it works also when software RT+ encoder is active. Single UECP connection can feed a network of RDS and DAB+ encoders.
• Demo encoder: Extensions/RT+ is automatically enabled upon start-up
• P164 RDS Encoder: remote management device website made available via the Magic RDS 4 webserver. All RDS encoders are accessible via one login and one IP address.

Known issues: Handle leak - when using External Text Sources for Window Title reading, the application reports getting out of available resources and no I/O operation is possible until application restart. A solution is on the way.

Known issues: Read buttons in RDS Content cannot be used if more program sets are in use. As a temporary solution, use the Terminal or the Device Website instead.

General:

• New connection kind: Hybrid Radio
• New model: Simple HTTP for sending text data using GET or POST method
• Internal channel - sendhttp command now accepts further parameters, incl. GET/POST method selection
• Read button sometimes unexpectedly set the Program to 1
• Read All button sometimes did not read EON
• Internal timing is now derived from a system timer that is independent of local real time
• The way individual Connection threads communicate with main thread has been redesigned. This sometimes led to unexpected connection problems.
• UECP RT: user can configure the UECP parameter Number of transmissions, default is "indefinite"
• UECP RT: CR character is placed immediately behind the text rather than the segment end
• UECP RT: an option added for filling the rest of the text by spaces
• Demo encoder: Short RT option did not work
• If the Serial/USB port could not be opened, the program kept repeating the error message
• UDP connection: "Opened" status was indicated even though the UDP port was occupied by another application
• UDP connection: changing the UDP port was sometimes not possible without the application restart
• UDP virtual port: bidirectional communication allowed
• UDP virtual port: local port and remote port are now configurable independently
• Sometimes, the AF method B was not correctly cleared in the form when switching between Connections
• MRDS1322/MicroRDS: a RT time setting was displayed in the form which is not applicable to this model

External text sources:

• Maximum number of text sources increased from 32 to 64
• Text Replacing: XML/JSON elements are now processed separately. The Output template is no longer processed.
• XML/JSON Find element: an error message is shown if the file cannot be read
• Default name of a new Source includes a number which now always corresponds to the Source ID (i.e. "Source 3", ID: 3). The same applies to the Output.
• Text Output Setup: The Add Selected button unintentionally added also non-source items.
• A connection can be added to the Output destinations using drag and drop

Radiotext Plus, Dynamic Label Plus (RT+/DL+):

• The behavior of the Item Toggle and Item Running bits has been unified across all models
• DL+: added option to send unused elements as a group of zeros or to skip them completely
• XML/JSON: the Text Processing Presets sometimes did not work as expected, corrupting the RT+ information
• MRDS1322/MicroRDS: the RT+ indicator was displayed even though the RT+ encoder was disabled in Extensions
• PIRA32: if RT+ running bit needs to the cleared, the application sends RTPRUN=2 command
• PIRA32: RTP= command contained incorrect seventh byte
• XCMD capable encoders: the dest parameter is always set to 3 to allow keeping RT+ running bit even if a plain text is being displayed
• DAB AVT model sometimes did not send <inactive/> element when the RT+ running bit needed to be turned off
• As the RT+ becomes essential, the RT+ software encoder in Extensions is now enabled by default for most encoders which do not support RT+ directly
