PIRA32 MOD
« on: July 23, 2019, 03:36:37 pm »
I would like to know if it is possible to use / replace the item "4.4.4 Analog section sample circuit" mentioned in the P232 Microcontroller Rev. 2019-03-12 documentation directly using the P32 Microcontroller. Is it possible without changes to the P32 fw?

You're asking for direct replacement, so the answer is no, it's not possible. The PIRA32 Microcontroller requires external pilot filter while the P232 Microcontroller has pilot filter built-in.

You should use the P232 for new design. Since you can omit the external pilot filter with LM567, the final circuit is even cheaper.

Is a custom uC possible?
Exactly the P232 uC core built into a 28-pin pic18F ... (no port 2 buffer, no program select input, no TA key input, no LCD data line -> LDC on I2C serial data).

I'm sorry, we are not able to do this.

Why the P232 mcu is not suitable for you?
