Positive and negative deviation

Hello.
Does the new P275 analyzer show also the positive and negative deviation? Or only the absolute?

The device internally holds the positive and negative deviation in separated registers so they can be made available in future firmware version. The value showed on the LCD is the higher from these two mentioned.

More details about the modulation are available in the FM Scope software on the pages MPX and RF Carrier. Here you can find modulation scope and histogram of  instantaneous FM deviation. This allows to recognize potential failure of the STL or transmitter causing asymmetrical limiting of the FM modulation etc.

Pos/Neg indication on the LCD has been implemented in firmware version 2.1a

(Page 1 - Main Menu - Page Context - Show Peaks)
