Possible to "clone" encoders?
« on: May 03, 2016, 06:45:57 pm »
I'm going to be rollingput a bunch of 332's in the next year. Is it some how possible to store a config to apply when I get a new encoder. Only thing to change on most would be the IP address, but it's a lot to config from factory state. Didn't see anything on the web interface. perhaps magic RDS?

Thanks,
Nathan

Currently the "cloning" is not supported thru the web (but this may change during the year).

The Magic RDS software for Windows is a common tool for all our RDS encoder models, with or without the LAN interface. Using this software you may setup individual network parameters and manage unlimited number of RDS profiles. Each profile is placed in separate *.rds file. After opening that file and clicking the "Store all" button the clone process is done.

We also support factory programming, i.e. delivery of the devices already preprogrammed with station data.
