If the song title remains during the commercial break, focus your attention on the broadcast automation system. If there's no text assigned to the commercial break, the Magic RDS cannot recognize it and keeps the last text until it expires.

for the station LOGO to be used do i have to change the subcarrier configuation in the analog control to RDS2?

Jan:
Keep the RDS2 disabled, there's still no consumer receiver which can utilize it. The Logo feature has no meaning today.
