Activating alternate frequency

Tried activating alternate frequency from Magic RDS 4 Software for a P132 encoder but it does not work. When i researched for more information it says if the PI code second digit is set to 0 it means it won't work.

I wish to achieve the proper configuration of the alternate frequency for it to work. Grateful if someone can guide me through this.

If your current PI is x0xx, any attempt to get the AF working will not be successful because you give an explicit information to the receivers that your station has only single transmitter.

What are the options available for me to have the AF working?

1) Contact the national authority for correct PI assignment

or

2) Change the PI yourself to xFxx, keeping the last two digits unchanged.
