A radio colleague reported to me that P164 automatically generated an RDS code for me to use. How does this work? I could find no reference in the manual

This BW encoder will definitely not work with any software today. The only solution for that case is to replace the encoder with a recent one. Please check our offer of RDS encoders at https://pira.cz/rds/

I know this is an old thread, but maybe you guys will know this:
I have to try reprogramming a 20-year old BWB RDS unit (pre-RDS1 I think). The serial port software we used to use is Windows 95/98 and lost in the mosts of time. However the interface looked very similar to present day TinyRDS software.
Does anyone know if it will work with any of the newer software?

It reads the ini file, from the Data folder (Setup - About - Data Folder).

For many years, Microsoft no longer allows writing to ini file into the Program Files path.

Hi,
I am trying to use Pira.cz Silence Detector version 1.4f with an ini file piraside.ini. But the executable is not reading the ini file. Is there a previous version that does?

The Text replacing box exists in the Magic RDS for maybe 20 years, I don't think anyone stole it  :)

You should start by deleting the Text conditions rows, except the 'GR' line.

Can you give me a complete example where when there is "Jingle" the string is deleted
