Hi,
Everything is working great, EXCEPT, the Artist and song titles are missing the spaces in between the words. It's reading ChrisTomlin-TheRedLetters and it should be Chris Tomlin - The Red Letters.
In the "Recent Events" portion, it reads correctly. But when I click "Read", it is missing the spaces.
Thoughts? Thanks.

Thank you for that report. This is not a common behavior.
Please send us following information:
- RDS encoder model
- Tools - External Text Sources - Destinations - Send To - the text box content
- Overview - Communication Monitor - the text content after sending a new Radiotext
-
Thanks,
1. We have the Magic RDS 4 (using the P164 preset)
2. sendto *
3. Where do i find this?
Thanks.
-
1. I'm aware of the preset choice but does it match your RDS encoder model?
3. In menu: View - Device Tools - Overview, scroll to Communication Monitor and turn in ON

My engineer says we have a p164. It was set to Pira32. I changed it to the P164 setting. And the following was sent. But still no change with spacing. It's still smashed together.

UPDATED:
It didn't save the new setting. I updated again and it is now reading the correct P164 setting. Below is the new communication.

There are abuse protections in the Magic RDS 4 which cause the behavior you're observing.
Your RDS encoder model is probably not the P164. It would be necessary to check what's your real RDS encoder model and whether it uses latest firmware.
Anyway, download latest Magic RDS 4 version first.
-
Ok, I'll double check.
We do have the latest v. of 4.0.39
-
OK. In my opinion, you have PIRA32 RDS encoder with old firmware (prior to 2010). You can update here: https://pira.cz/rds/show.asp?art=rds_encoder_firmware_upgrade
