Title: Email set up questions

Hello ,

This may seem a foolish question to many users , but as a novice I am tr yang to get this to work . Could someone tell me what the user name and password in alarm tasks and return tasks relates to
Is it the from address or to address or something completely different

These fields relates to the SMTP authentization when sending emails. Almost all SMTP servers require authentization. If you wish to be notified by email when a silence occurs, fill the same authentication data like in your email client (Mozilla Thunderbird, Live Mail or whatever you use). There are other threads in this forum describing the email setup.
