Title: Pira 5W PLL Transmitter Power
Post by: Radiofreak1041 on May 05, 2016, 01:10:48 am
Hey everyone,

I made the Pira 5W PLL transmitter with a 2SC1971 and double-sided PCB. According to the scheme, I expected a 7W, or at least a 5W RF output power, but I measured only 1W. Is there an explanation for this problem?

Thanks,
Radiofreak1041

Check power output on BFG135. It should be around  0.3-0.6W. If yes, maybe 2SC1971 is faulty or fake.

Just try RDHV06F1  instead. Yes I  know it is a  Fet. However, there is an easy way to using it with minor circuit change.
