Title: Update SD's log every n minutes
Post by: Andrew-LR on March 24, 2014, 01:01:48 pm
Hello!

I have a question regarding the SD's log file. We use Nagios to detect several broadcasting programs' activity by checking the time their log was last time updated. For example, if SElogger's log file was not updated more than 61 minutes, Nagios sends me an e-mail. Is there a way to make SD update its log every n minutes (even without alarms)? For example, to put a new message to the log like that:

00:00 - no silence
01:00 - no silence
...
23:00 - no silence

and so on.

Or there is another way to check Pira's activity with Nagios?

Thank you.

You already had some "Not responding" issue with the SD application?

Hello Jan.

There were not any problems yet, SD works well, but I would like to be sure that SD really works at any moment.
