Hello,
I try to run PIRA32 on a remote site using internet connection.
Pira32 is behind a router IP address is 92.0.3.255 and a IP/Serial converter local IP address of PIRA32 is 192.168.1.33 set like this: (click to enlarge)
(http://nsa33.casimages.com/img/2013/06/15/mini_130615032412874424.jpg) (http://www.casimages.com/img.php?i=130615032412874424.jpg)
I install Magic RDS software on the local PC, but I am unable to connect remotely PIRA32, and I wonder what to write in Host and Port boxes in Magic RDS.
I open ports 12300 to 12350 on both modem routeurs local and remote.
What is wrong ?
Tks for help

You're connecting to 92.0.3.255:12303 from the Magic RDS. Any other issues must be solved in the remote router's settings (NAT/TCP Port Forwarding).

Thanks Jan.
Do you mean that nothing else can use port 12303, and this port is only for Magic RDS ?
-
The port number has to be unique on the server side only. There can be only one service per one port number on the server (= the remote router in your case).

TKS, I will try
Have a nice week end

Unfortunately, no positive result
On the local site :
The IP in the picture is the remote site (with PIra32) true public IP

On the remote site, port 12303 is open for Pira32, and more the unit is DMZ in the router.
Sure I miss something

There's nothing you can do better in the RDS encoder's settings. You should consult this issue with your internet connectivity provider - you're trying to run a public server behind at least one router. It cannot work without port forwarding, i.e. forwarding a request from the internet to an unique IP address (the converter's IP address) in the local network. Follow your router's documentation for more details about how to configure that feature.

Thanks Jan.
I will investigate on the router side.

Finaly It works.
The only way I found, is to set the unit (PIRA32 and RS232/IP converter) under DMZ
