ok, run the application, maybe hide it if you want, then find its icon in tray, right-click and select close. The application will remember its state. Set the ini file as read only to avoid unwanted changes.

I know. This will run the application.

The answer in the old forum is not very clear.

I want Remote COM Port to start and RUN when a PC boots up. What is the syntax for the *.ini file to do that?

It has been already answered in the old forum. Create a set of ini files with the configuration required and copy the appropriate ini file into the application folder using *.bat script:

are there command line parameters I can set (or some other way) to configure/start Remote Com Port 1.4e using a batch file at Windows startup?
