We'll use it now to connect Casio barcode scanners (through their serial craddle) to a PC.

Your software is nicely done and works like a charm.

When I find a useful piece of freeware, I always make a point of expressing my thanks to the producer - so, <B>Thank you so much for making Remote COM available !</B>
As a non-commercial user, it is appreciated even more.

If it is of interest, I am using 'Remote COM 1.4e' to access a USB UBW (bitwacker which acts as a serial port) and Remote COM is running on a linux netbook under WINE. My self-written client program runs on a windows laptop.
