I believe that the pll (frequency control) is a fairly standard architecture with a pic micro controller configuring a pll chip.
I guess you MAY be able to get a PC program that can simulate a pic via an rs232 or usb port, you could possibly then load an appropriate program into it, but why bother? Surely if its working as it is there is no need?

I have the PIRA 2mW FM Transmitter, however, the frequency is controllable manually through 2 buttons.
Is there a unit which I can interface to this to have computer control over the frequency?

Or, is there an equivalent unit (that has RDS transmission capabilities) that I can buy?
