It is not possible to move the data folder. User can change the installation subfolder that also defines the subfolder name for the application data. This way the instances stays independent.
Install each instance to a different subfolder.

hello, I read the discussion and would also serve to me a multiple instance. I have windows 7 and UAC turned off, but during the installation does not give me the option to move the data folder, and even after there is no way to change the location of the file piraside.ini
Is there a solution? thanks

Does it mean that single instance recognizes the audio correctly?

I tried to run multiple instances by installing to unique folders, although the program would run it would not recognize any audio. Any thoughts on that?
Thank you

Due to stupid Microsoft policy the ini file must be placed in that folder as in Vista and later it's not possible to store ini files in the application folder if their hyper ultra feature called UAC is enabled. This makes the things a bit complicated.
Of course a solution exists for multiple instances - install each instance to a different folder. If still no luck, please let me know.

Silence detector 1.3 doesn't work with multiple instances as previous versions did. On XP, it creates the Piraside.INI under C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Pira CZ Silence Detector.

Is there a way to force the program to read the INI from a specific folder?

Thanks
