« on: August 17, 2021, 10:19:15 pm »Yes, in many cases you can use the Magic RDS 4 as a replacement of the "remote com port program". Simply add a Bridge and create a new Virtual port inside it for accepting the incoming data.
If the data is in another format which is not accepted by the encoder directly, add a new rds encoder model and use either the virtual port or external text source for the data conversion.

« on: August 17, 2021, 10:11:33 pm »Thank you! We are currently sending data as ASCII over IP to the remote com port program and then on to the encoder. I was wanting to use Magic RDS to receive and pass on this data instead, so would I have to use a separate connection as a bridge?
