Multiple Instances (More than 4)

Is there a way to run more than 4 instances of the silences detector at the same time?  My sound card has 8 inputs and I would like to use all of them.

There's no known restriction in total number of instances.

hymadc:
The older version would not support more than 4, the current version will allow me run 8.  Thank you

It's interesting because the number of instances is not explicitly restricted anywhere in the code. Some restrictions may exist on the OS or sound card driver side. Anyway, feel free to post any reports if the problem remains.
