Setting change
Hi Jan,
I have a couple of miniRDS units in service and one is changing the settings on its own every week or so. I have selected "word alignment", "label period 2,5" and "Delay 13,5".
The unit changes these settings to "scrolling text" "Label 33" and "Delay 175,5" without user intervention.
Anything known about this?
I'll exchange the PIC one of these days with a spare one that was in service for some month without problems and see what it gets.

Re: Setting change
The unit is indeed clever but not so much to change the settings spontaneously. So I suppose that the "unwanted" state is the state that was last stored to EEPROM and the new state was not stored. After power drop-out the older settings are loaded. In other words, click on Store button after you made the changes.

Re: Re: Setting change
:)
I'm quite sure I stored the settings several times. But I'll do that again. Power outage is very unlikely as our transmission equipment is on UPS power.
Hmm, we had a problem with the refrig units some weeks ago so the temperature at the transmission centre was up to 45 Degrees Celsius. I'm not sure about the temperature inside the transmitter itself where the RDS unit is located...
We'll see...
Thanks for your input,
regards:
