Hi
today I´ve installed the encoder and seems to work fine... But in a RDS reader it only appears:
*RDS* instead the name of the station I put under Default PS.
Any hint why this occurs?

Why does my display only show * RDS *. The documentation for the miniRDS is not really clear enough to explain this...

My miniRDS does not seem to accept data from the software. I am connected through the COM port, and everthing tests fine with that. I can even hear the data being sent to the encoder on the FM receiver! But, the encoder does not seem to respond to it...no carrier control, no change in PS, etc. The receiver just displays * RDS * . WHAT IS THE PROBLEM????

The "* RDS *" PS is a test line put to the MiniRDS before dispatching to customer. It indicates that the unit is 100% working in conformity with the specifications. If you hear the incoming data in audio, you surely have a mistake in the connection - there is no path between the data bus and RDS output. This forum should not be a guide how to solder 3 wires. We may discuss all details on the email but some more info is required (for example photo of your connection etc.), nobody from us is an augur ;)

I sent an e-mail and nobody responded...
I assure you, the unit is connected properly, the data I hear may be due to the fact that my audio and data connect to the transmitter via the same DB9 connector...

i like to used tdc (transparent data channel) to operate equipment or to send information to alfanumeric display i need the receiver telecommuter
do you sell receiver to this function
